Teshuva, Tefila and Tzedaka

 

As we approach the Yamim Nora'im it is customary to look inward, to evaluate our lives and refocus on our life-goals. In this walking tour we will use historical events in Jerusalem from its rich history to help us with our introspection.

"Teshuva, Tefila and Tzedaka", we are told, is the formula to avert the evil decree. We will examine these concepts as they played out in Jerusalem from the days of King David until the modern day liberation of the city.
